Forest School 2009-2010

This page is all about Forest School and the activities we do each week.

Building on our work about the Leaf Man we made our own leaf classification cards using the leaves that have fallen from the trees in the school grounds.

In our next session we read a book called ‘Leaf Man’ and then we used the leaves to make our own leaf men and animals. Can you guess what each photo is?

In our second session in the woods. This time we made collages out of natural materials. Can you guess what our collages represent?

Here are some pictures from our first Forest School session. We made dream catchers using twigs and wool, then we tried to hang them in the trees.

 

This week in Forest School we got rather muddy! We made tree spirits and had lots of fun!
