Year 6 had a wonderful time this morning reading our, recently completed, Picture Books to the children in Reception.

Big Schools’ Birdwatch 2012

Today Y6 participated in the R.S.P.B.’s Big Schools’ Birdwatch.

We spent 1 hour recording the various species of birds in and around the school grounds.

We constructed hides to conceal ourselves and tempted the birds with special “maggots”.Click to view slideshow.

We will be uploading our results to the nationwide survey.

We hope that you and your family all had a fantastic Christmas break and we wish you a very happy New Year.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back in school on Wednesday. We are unlikely to be having Forest School on the first day, however PE will be happening on Thursday and Friday so please remember to bring in your kits.

Goodbye to Mrs Ellis-Hall

Today we said a very sad farewell to Mrs Ellis-Hall as she leaves us to start a new job with Mercedes.

We wish her all the best and hope that she will come back to visit often.
